We can have Youtube videos simply in threads now .
1, add the code (if you sign up forum before 12.07.2007, then you need to add it by yourself )
Tag Icon File
Admin CP. --> Posts (on the Top menu) --> Code (left)--> Add New: Youtube bb_youtube.gif
submit --> click on the youtube Available ,
submit --> then
edit [detail] --> Replacement: <object width="425" height="350"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/{1}"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/{1}" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" width="425" height="350"></embed></object>
--> Example: [youtube]KJTMAgotYXo[/youtube]
--> Explanation: Insert Youtube Video
--> Variable Num: 1
--> Nest Num: 1
submit .ok now
2, go
http://www.youtube.com to get a url of video, eg,
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7vL19q8yL54
click at the youtube icon , you will get this code :
[youtube]KJTMAgotYXo[/youtube]
chang the "
KJTMAgotYXo" into "
7vL19q8yL54" its ok now.
you neednt put the url all in the code .
3, Set the user group' s permission to put youtube in threads .eg ,Newbie :
Admin's CP --> Users --> User Group --> newbie --> edit [detail] -->
Use Custom Code: choose
yes .
submit.
