LaTeX suggestion

I run a math forum and writing math without visualizing the math equations can be difficult and it also makes reading the equations difficult.

LaTeX code is the solution but it needs someone to upload the necessary "things" on the server and it seems I don't have enough rights to do that (I tried using ftp but I think that only the people behind the forumgogo server have access to that).

All info to make this work is at http://www.mayer.dial.pipex.com/tex.htm.

Hoping that everyone who runs a math related forum can benefit from that.

If you need anymore info please reply.

It is not that easy. As it is explained in the website http://www.mayer.dial.pipex.com/tex.htm, some important things must be uploaded on the server so that LaTeX may convert code to beautiful equations and I can't access the server by ftp (I don't seem to be given the necessary rights to use ftp to upload things on the server).

Anyway, all info is at http://www.mayer.dial.pipex.com/tex.htm and it is not long to read.

Thank you.

easier alternative

Here is an easier alternative (less things to do) : http://www.forkosh.com/mimetex.html

Mimetex is an alternative to the one I proposed above. It requires, I think, only one thing to upload.

Thank you. Yes, actually I found that trick some days ago: i.e. calling the public external server http://www.forkosh.dreamhost.com/mimetex.cgi? but I was afraid it was not reliable for long term use. But I think it would do the job for now.

Thank you so much for taking the time to answer my questions.
