yes, click in one thread. find the "Thread Options: " on the right corner below the smilies.

then  choose the "merge threads" option.

Sorry to bother you much

When we upload attachment, how can we know its direct link. I can only view its direct link with image file as our forum support its preview, but not for other types.

Please help.

Wait Ann, it's wierd, because I just merged a few threads a few days ago, but like the counter got messed up, now the "posts today" is like in the thousands, and like the numbers are just all off.....we may have a few posts, but the "post today" are like, off....

Admin CP. --> Tools --> Update Caches

if it dosent work, go  Misc --> Scheduled Jobs --> as "todayposts_daily.inc.php" chlick [Run At Once], and other section also you can run it.

There's misunderstanding, I think so. Sorry about my bad English.

For better understand of my question, please take these steps as below:

1. I create a new thread (post)
2. Type some content
3. Upload attachment (.jpb, .rar, .doc, .whatever)

After these as above, I view my post, and here're results

1. If I attach image file
- We will see link to download this image file, as well as its preview, therefore we can right click for its direct link (where this image locates in this forum).

2. If I attach non-image file
- We will see link to download this attachment, but there's no preview that help me to know where its direct link.

Any ideas that help me to know this kind of direct link.

b4 upload u must check the file TYPE,wich u r uploading, i think u need more attachmen codes ,go on
Admin CP. -->Users and choose wich u want to setng ,press on Detail,and go on Attachment Type: and paste below code in.
