Is there something wrong with showing birthday members on the main page of the forum? Or not exactly wrong, but they just won't show up unless we manually update caches from Tools in Admin CP. That means we would have to remember to do that every day for not to skip anyone's b-day.
If you don't update them manually, no birthday members are shown, ever.

How would it be possible to update birthday members automatically every day? Do we have to change some settings in Scheduled Jobs in Admin CP? We haven't ever touched any of those options so they are set to defaults.

You should disable the forum caches (all). I think this problem caused by them. They will also cause problems to HIDE code. Hope this helpful

I disabled all of the actions in Scheduled jobs. Then I edited our "test member's" birthday to be today, but it still doesn't appear on "Who's on birthday" list, until I manually update caches from Tools.

Very sorry that I don't know much about the source code of this forum, I will ask Ann for help.

I think those settings are like they should be.

Weekday and Day are set to "*" = no limit
Hour is set to "0" and Minutes to "00".


Am I right if I think it should update birthdays every day at midnight with those default settings? Well, it doesn't do so.

I noticed also that the name of the scheduled job for birthdays is a "Birhtday Member", there's a mistake in it. Does that have something to do with the problem?

Now something happened! I clicked "Run at once", now is says next run is 15/04 00:00! Before this it didn't show any date in that place, just N/A. I think this works now!

Scheduled Jobs still won't run automatically. I just checked, "Birthday Members" was still showing next run 15/04/08 00:00, so it hasn't updated them last night. Same goes with other scheduled jobs.

Forum time is set to our local time.
