How to work with Warning Banner Creator?

    * Start the program and choose the size of your banner ("width" and "height" are currently set for normal banners)
    * Choose an effective text. The first line consists of a warning message. The second message asks for the viewer's action.
    * Change the layout of the banner with the controls provided. You can change font, font size, color, placement and more.
    * Change the image and the icon if you want to. For the image, take any .bmp file of an appropriate size. For the icon, you'll need a .ico file. You find a lot of collections on the internet.
    * When you're satisfied with the result, press Test and a banner will appear.
    * WBC 2.0 can take a Screen capture for you. The banner will be saved in bmp format. You can edit it with any graphic software you have.
    * Upload the banner to the banner advertising website of your choice.
    * Don't forget to evaluate the clicktrough ratio of your banner and make changes if necessary!

    * To adapt the banner quickly, place it next to the main screen and change the controls on the main screen.
    * After each change,  the banner will be updated with the new settings automatically

How to make animated banners?

    * Simply make more than one and stitch them together with appropriate software.
    * For example, you could make a banner with a normal OK button and another one with a OK button with bold text. Stitching them together in an animated GIF gives you the desired result with the OK-text changing between normal and bold.

What are standard sizes?

    * Most banners are 468x60 pixels. This is also WBC's default size.
    * Your advertising program may have a different standard. Check their FAQ for more information.

How to choose an advertising programs?

    * Locate a few on the internet and compare them. At least, they should be free (for exchange programs), offer a good exchange ratio (1/2 or better), give you detailed statistics and tracking mechanism.
    * For paid advertising, be sure to check their pricing system. Compare what exposure you get for your money and how targeted their traffic is. For example, it does not make sense to advertise lingerie on sites for children.
