30 Kb??? It's about 7KBps. => slow speed :o
Anyway, there is a solution for it. Use firefox with NoScript, but you must allow forumgogo. It will only load script from forumgogo. =>Much faster. :victory:
PS: Please use IE to load it later and support our admins by cliking ads.

Hi,
one thing is driving me crazy and I thought if someone here could help.
After the 2 day downtime a few weeks ago it has been very hard for me and for some of our other members to use our forum (http://sims2suomikisat.forumgogo.com/index.php)
I am one of the admins there, but the forum is not founded by me. The problem is that it's SO slow, and same goes with all forumgogo forums, including this one.
Funniest thing is this: at work I use a Mac computer, and with my Mac I don't have any problems using forumgogo forums! But at home where I have a PC, it's very hard to use these forums, almost impossible. It really takes an effort to get a topic open, and trying to post a message can take all evening... Another funny thing is that my net is at home much faster than at work.
I'm using Firefox both at work and at home. I tried also with IE, but it wasn't any better.
I tried to disable javascript from browser's preferences and I tried Firefox's Noscript extension, but nothing changed.
The situation is very frustrating. :(
It would be so great to be able to use the forum nice and easy again. We really wouldn't like to move again, since we opened this new place at forumgogo last fall.
Like Marathi said, this does not seem to be forumgogo's fault because it works with Mac. More this feels like some compatibility problems between some things?
Any hints, what could cause this, and what could be done to fix this?

I started to use proxy and now the forum is a bit faster. It's not as fast as it used to be before, not even close, but at least now I can use it somehow.
I'm starting to suspect my service provider... We have different service providers at home and at work, and like I said earlier, at work there's no probled using forumgogo forums. I think I'll just have to wait and see what happens. Now I just have to use proxy as "first aid".
I also started asking our forum members their service providers. It would help a lot figuring this out, if I knew if those who have problems with the forum have the same provider as I do.

I have no longer any difficulties to enter forumgogo forums from home either. :)
That was a weird problem and I have no idea what might have caused it. Using proxy helped quite a lot, but now I haven't been using proxy anymore and these forums work great! :loveliness:
