Bug about Board's Avatar

Hi Ann,

Guess I need your help again...

Today I found something very strange at my Board [[url]http://rendezvous.forumgogo.com/index.php[/url]].

One member have just joined in, and he uploaded the Avatar from his PC... Which I allow people to do so.

Now the crazy thing is -- his avatar [as shown in the attachment] -- just appeared on other 3 members as well.
It's like when he upload that avatar, the system just change those 3 member's avatar to the same picture too!

But that's not just it. The wierdest thing is that... The avatar of my other 3 member just have the same picture, but their avatar maintain their original size of the avatar that was replaced!! How strange!!


Don't know how or why this is happening... A bug maybe ? Sorry, but I couldn't come up with any ideas at all.

If you just have time, please check it for me. I'd appreciate that very much.


Oh.. When I go check the CP I found that the three Avatar has no file name -- could this be the reason... As they're like

i think your three members r in one group i mean check
Member Group List,
adminCP-Users-User Group
if u make a group then thay all Newbie members get same avatar and permision to,try to reset,i am not 100% sure but try this or wait for any expert,sorry my english is bad:L  but i hope u understand me:lol

:lol have no idea about this case.
I think you should use the "file format" to manage ur newly upload files ;P

PM me the account's Username, PW,  the Security Questions and Answer.

Btw. Did you just register on my forum... Cuz I found one new member named [b]SuperPolice[/b] which become Super Admin and his/her register date was [color=red]16-8-2006[/color]. Couldn't be possible, I just start using the forum 3 months ago.

SuperPolice = Ann, She has ever used this user name when help me on config my forum ;P ( I think she like to become a police when she was a child, then she found it's ... impossible then => she's here :lol :lol )

#ZAlpha: You can change the path of newly uploaded files, sorry but I ... forgot where this settings is :lol. Just change the path, try again and .. good luck.

I have changed the user's Avatar

and let the two User to check their Avatars.

Right now they have no avatar in use... :L
(As I've removed it before you tell me to send the account info. -- My bad T^T)

I'll keep you inform on the subject when the problem happens again.


Wait, there is still one member with the problem avatar. Now his avatar is still the same as before you change the avatar.
You could go to see it at the web.

let him change his avatar,

then try again, check is there also have that problem

That's a really wierd bug, i have never had such a problem but i do know of a code that automatically adds an avatar to a non poster.
